Sitting comfortably on the couch with coffee mug in hand, slowly inhaling and enjoying the smell of coffee. Watching Ruby and Eden chatting and playing with Bratz dolls, Eden tilted her head with a curious look on her face, “Why do you always move your hands when you talk to your mummy?” she asked. “It’s called signing, that’s how you communicate with deaf people,” Ruby replied still focusing on getting the dress on the doll. “What are deaf people?” Eden asked with the same curious face, “Deaf people are like daddy, he can’t hear you. Mummy is deaf too but she can hear me with the things on her ears,” Ruby talked with pride. “What things on her ears?” Eden was even more curious with a little frown, “Dunno,” Ruby shrugged. Eden looks like she has million questions and looked at me, she smiled shyly and went back to playing.
